Vector Art
AI & EPS

Vector art is layered art, where objects can be scaled to any size without losing the integrity of edges, outlines, and other important design elements. Specialized software is used to create these files, and are able to be edited and prepared for printing. Vector art produces the cleanest and sharpest product, making it the ideal choice for screen printing. If you've had a logo professionally designed for you, there's a good chance it was designed using this method. You can save time by requesting your vector art file from the original artist/company. These file extensions are: .ai & .eps

Pixel-Based Art
JPEG, TIF, PSD, BMP & PNG

Pixel-based images, are simply grids of color blocks (pixels). When you try to scale an image like this, the individual pixels become pronounced and create jagged edges. In order for us to print or embroider using a pixel-based image, we need to examine it first to determine its viability.
  • What is the difference between "full subs" and "spot subs"?

Full sublimation involves cut and sew process after being printed. Each product is designed, printed, templates are cut out, and then sewn. Spot sublimation uses polyester (dri-fit style) product that is sublimated on the front and back of each jersey. We can also use the spot sublimation process for full color printing, but there may be white areas showing in the gussets of the garment from the heat press process.

  • Can I print full color sublimation on previously dyed garments?

Spot sublimation can only be full color on a white or light grey garment. If you would like to have a colored garment as a spot dye option, then the only ink option is black. We can create designs that are just one color, that color being black, and apply the art to these spot dye garments. If you would like a multi-color design then either white or light grey would have to be used.
